If Only We Gets a Brand New Cover

My first book, If Only We, has a new cover! I started designing my own covers a few years ago and I figured that this cover is in need of an update.

What do you think? I feel it suits Adrienne both in hair color and the ambiance of second chances.

As of right now, If Only We is only available on Amazon (and in Kindle Unlimited). I am currently in the process of doing some revisions due to some errors that have been discovered post-release. While I'm fixing those mistakes, I figured it wouldn't hurt for me to read it over and see if I can tighten it up a little more. I feel I've learned a lot over the years with writing and my very first book could use a little bit of a refresh.

My goal is to have it rewritten, proofread, and reuploaded everywhere by the time its anniversary comes up on October 27th. Since it's more of a "read it over while fixing a handful of issues" sort of revision, I think it's manageable for me to get it back up everywhere by then.

A Switch to Kindle Unlimited!

I've decided to place both Now You Can See and Not Until Tonight on Kindle Unlimited for the first time. It isn't the first time I've used KU (I put all my Lilly Avalon books on KU a few times), but I've never done it under Jessica Sankiewicz/Jessica L. Tate.

If Only We is still available on all platforms, but I am planning on switching it to KU at some point in the near future (possibly by the end of the year). I'm in the process of a few light edits to fix some errors I've discovered since publishing. Hopefully I'll be able to get to these soon and get the book reformatted, which I'm going to attempt to do myself, so wish me luck there!

A Writerish Recap of 2013

I haven't been doing much as far as the weekly writing updates (or, well, ANY updates) but I thought I would give a little recap of what happened for me writing wise in 2013.

Back on January 1st, I said that 2013 was going to be my year. And while I didn't do a lot when it comes to writing, it was still a pretty amazing year. Why? I finished writing and editing my first full-length novel AND published it on October 27th. The journey of that novel, If Only We, has been a long one (longer than expected), but I'm very satisfied with how the story turned out in the end. And there have been so many wonderful people supporting and promoting If Only We, I feel so thankful and appreciate every single person, comment, and review. People are reading my book, and they are getting my book, which is an amazing feeling.

As far as what's next, well, that's another story. I managed to get 9427 words written during my unofficial NaNoWriMo writing spree. My goal was 15,000 words, but that wasn't happening with a new job and other craziness in November. The story I was writing, Not Until Tonight, hasn't been getting much work done on it since November ended. But I am still aiming to finish writing and possibly publish by the end of February. *crosses fingers*

When she wakes up the next day, she has been transported back three months to that moment, the one where everything started to fall apart.

Adrienne realizes she has been given a second chance—and this time she doesn’t want to mess anything up. Reliving the entire summer, though, turns out to be a lot harder than she thought. As the same days and weeks go by, she starts to see how simple decisions can make a huge impact on the world around her. Despite knowing some of what lies ahead, there are some things she didn’t anticipate. She thought she knew what mistake led her to where she ended up the first time. She was wrong.

And by the time summer is over, she discovers what was really at stake.
